Pan America is radically different from what Harley-Davidson has been doing for decades. The design language, cycle parts, and visual appeal – all have been thought out well for the motorcycle but in its own way. First, the fascia of Pan America is quite different from what we usually see in the segment.

The Harley Davidson Pan America and Pan America Special

After a very successful launch in 2021, the Pan America 1250 and 1250 Special, have been heaped with praise from the ADV riding community. Harley Davidson has successfully taken on the best of the world and shown that an American-made Adventure bike will kick dirt in the faces of all rivals.

The Revolution® Max 1250 Engine is a liquid-cooled V-Twin designed to offer flexible, engaging performance with a broad powerband that builds to a rush of high-RPM power. Making 150 HP and 94 ft. lbs of torque, this engine spins up to 9500 RPM. The 60o V-Twin has an optimized design for lightweight and is a structural component of the motorcycle chassis, a front frame element, mid-frame element, and the tail section bolt directly to the powertrain.

The Pan America 1250 and Pan America 1250 Special models are equipped with a collection of technologies designed to match motorcycle performance to available traction during acceleration, deceleration, and braking. The systems are designed to aid the rider in controlling the motorcycle while accelerating and braking in a straight line or while in a turn.

5 Pre-programed ride modes (4 are pre-programmed and one can be customized) for the Pan America 1250 models include Road, Sport, Rain, Off-Road, and Off-Road Plus. The Pan America™ 1250 Special model has two additional modes that can be customized by the owner, each ride mode consists of a specific combination of power delivery, engine braking, Cornering Enhanced Antilock Braking System (C-ABS), and Cornering Enhanced Traction Control System (C-TCS) settings.

For their 2022 model, Harley Davidson improved the visibility of the TFT display, and the active time for the hill hold control has been extended from 10 seconds to up to 5 minutes.
